- Miserlou, a pretty bolero. This recording, with jumbush, is only so-so, but gives you an idea of the song. I'll be preforming it on electric guitar if you like this one.
- Banat Iskandaria, an upbeat Ayub.
- Ma Elee, which is an old Eddie Kochak tune.
My favorite of the three is Miserlou, but I'd like to know which you would prefer.

Notes on Bolero rhythm - here are my favorite patterns.
t3 means triplet, 3 notes in the space of 2, or 'tek-ka-ta' instead of 'tek-ka'.
t3k3 on the last example is a triplet pair, te-ka-ta ka-te-ka - very nice with a crescendo, and you come off it with the next note on your main hand for a strong accent - te-ka-ta ka-te-ka TEK.

You remember that nice drum and zil groove we had going with the dancers last week? Well, here it is without the zils, and here it is with the zils. The zil part is not perfect, especially in the 2nd half. (Keith, I will want you to try a lead drum track here and see how it turns out.)
